I could almost hear Vivaldi dancing out of the greasy speaker on the workbench. It was a space once dedicated to creation that had slipped under the cover of dust. It had been a long time since anything new was made there.
The piano was long gone, too. Thank God - the most physically taxing part of trashing out is hauling a piano up stairs (even a small upright can weigh 500 pounds). But the music remained, and here we see composers old and new. Even though I couldn't play, I opened the books up and hummed along. I guess we can still create music here after all.
