DuAll’s Television Debut A Success

Posted on by Peter

Thank you to everyone who watched DuAll’s Trashout Heroes on Nat Geo’s Taboo last night. The show was a hit. On a personal level, I’m proud that the kind of work we do was so fairly showcased last night. There are so many different jobs that we deem unpleasant or impossible. “I’d never do that,” we often say. Heck, I probably would have said that before I knew about this industry. And yet millions of people work behind the scenes every day in order to keep our world running. Worker bees of the world, unite!

It was fun seeing reactions to our show on Twitter. Here are a few tweets that came out during the show:

I didn’t get to see it. Maybe some day on Netflix. Your fame will live on through reruns forever. Now DuAll is known everywhere there is TV.

The Taboo show was off the charts. We’re lucky to have professionals (with a sense of humor) like Dave and his crew.

Cynthia, I’m glad you liked the show. My hope was that at least some of the fun we have with our job was passed on to the viewers. Cheers! – Pistol Pete

While watching the Taboo episode on you gentlemen I was utterly fascinated.
I completely respect all of you for doing what most wouldn’t ever think to do.
And I must say that you are very handsome, Pistol Pete.

Pistol Pete, are you single? I couldn’t help but notice how handsome and articulate you are.

    • Kathryn, I thank you for kind words. I do have a girlfriend, and she fully understands how much I enjoy working in garbage. For that, I am eternally grateful.

Dirty Dave and Company You’s Guy’s are my HERO’S! I saw the show, I am a Registered Nurse in Arizona and I thought Diarrhea mixed with bright red blood was bad until I saw what you guys conquere. I laughed so hard right out loud because you guys really made this so funny which is something Nurses do at the Hospital at times out of the sheer desire to escape the sadness of the work we do. It’s really amazing how much we all have in common when trying to support ourselves and families yet we would never stop to think or talk about it. Happy Healty New Year to All of You At DUALL,

    • I’m glad you liked the show, Claudia! I think you’re right that nurses, trashout guys, and other professions that have to deal with unhealthy physical and emotional situations use laughter as a coping mechanism. If Dirty Dave weren’t so fun to work with, the job might become a chore. As it is, I love going to work every day. Cheers! – Pistol Pete

  6. Just saw the Taboo episode…you guys are very daring and cool to watch. You need your own show. As sick as it sounds, I’d watch it. It’s almost like wanting to see what has as happened at a serious car accident!

Get a show of your own…seriously.
