The only beings to set foot on this deck recently are the squirrels and raccoons.
This deck overlooks a silenced workshop that I explored a while ago. And while the inner workings of the workshop are interesting, the stoic pose of this deck also caught my attention. The elements, it seems, have thus far been kept at bay. But this home sits in the middle of the woods, away from prying neighbors or city inspectors. If it weren’t for our weekly maintenance, I suspect that this home would be engulfed in vegetation by summer’s end. As it currently stands, this space has retained its dignity and is looking for people to entertain.
