Not the kind of dresser-top bar I was looking for.
I come across this more than you might think. These bottles sat on top of a dresser, and I imagine their contents stray quite far from the 7-Up’s proclamation of being “crisp, clean, refreshing.” When the utilities are shut off before the residents vacate the premises, random bottles become urine-storage units. Sometimes we find gallons of pee in homes. The trick is not to spill them, and not to dump them in a garbage bag – with all the other debris, they often tear, and a trail of piss is not something that we enjoy cleaning up. Bottoms up!
